PCs with Eidolon rules

So the idea came to me as I was thinking about new outrageously unique player types.
The setting could be a fantasy one, like Forgotten Realms or Pathfinder, or Star Wars where any race is possible.

The PCs are members of a race able to evolve.  Each player will have a PC created and later levelled up with Eidolon (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classe...es/summoner/eidolons) rules, with basic form, evolutions, and everything.
There is no summoner involved, only the life-forms in the culture.  Whenever a PC makes a level, it evolves but can't start from scrap, only develop its already existing body and abilities.  Since it goes by d20 rules, it's easy to fit into any d20-based game.
In a non-fantasy game, the 'Basic Magic' ability has a different name and different powers, like the Force in Star Wars.

The goal of the group can be anything depending on the setting, for example:
  • Forgotten Realms Underdark - a good-aligned group with stealthy shadow-themed appearance, intent to ally with a Svirfneblin city in order to defeat a specific drow clan
  • Pathfinder North - a neutral group trying to break the rule of Baba Yaga because the eternal winter threatens its existence, with warrior type ice-themed appearance
  • Star Wars Forest Planet - an Alliance-friendly group, with plant-like appearance, trying to reach orbit to ask for the help of the Old Republic against the powerful Sith presence
  • Star Wars Volcanic Planet - same as the previous, but with insect-like, crystalline or mineral-like appearance

And if we are going weird, let's do it properly. With such extraordinary PCs, I don't want to play in the same old fantasy medieval setting. I'd rather play, for example,
  • in an asteroid belt with a greenish atmosphere, where ships use propellers to move about
  • in an underground setting, where the ground lives, each cavern being an individual, with personality, desires, motivations, goals, and the ability to communicate
  • on a gas giant, where every settlement is fully artificial and can travel around, people diving in the dense gas to find mythic monsters, secrets and treasures

For this game, I'm looking for 3 other players at most, and a daring GM.
