So, I have an idea or two I would really like to run sometime, and I know that Fate is the system I'd like to run them in.  I've played it a couple times in the past and it's been smooth, straightforward, and simple enough to be only as complex as needed.

The thing is, I lack experience.  The games I played in (those that didn't fall apart) were in old versions of the Fate rules.  I've skimmed the Fate Core book and really like it, but I don't consider myself familiar enough with it to try to run a game by myself.  Furthermore, my gut feeling on this is that trying to learn by playing won't really get me where I need to go.  If I'm going to learn the ropes, I need to GM.

To answer this Catch-22, I'd like to join a game using Fate Core rules as a backup or assistant GM.  Ideal situation for me would be a game that's been running long enough to have momentum; I'm all too aware of how startup games in RPoL tend to peter out.  I'd prefer to work according to a provided plan or directions rather than planning the plot or world myself.  Because my interest in the game is primarily mechanical, I wouldn't want to risk butting heads on an alternate take of the plot.  On the other hand, I'd be glad to offer setting details and NPC posts within the guidelines that the main GM sets.
