Final Fantasy d6 (Adult)

I've been really enjoying a weekly game of FFd6, but I've been wanting to try out other builds/settings (the one I'm in is a post War of the Lions Ivalice), so I hope to find a GM and up to 3 more players max to play with. Like all my game requests I'd prefer it to be an Adult-rated game if at all possible. I'm fine with starting from level one, and playing the game vanilla, though i've got a pastebin of rules tweaks and changes to smooth certain aspects of the game out if the prospective GM is interested.

Re: Final Fantasy d6 (Adult)

New or old, and by that I mean how many attributes are there, and how many levels? I prefer 5 attributes and 30 levels.

Re: Final Fantasy d6 (Adult)

I have toyed with the idea of running a more open world FFd6 with some kingdom management rules.  I just wasn't sure what the interest would be considering the waning interest in the FFRPG 3rd edition rulebook.

Are you looking for a open-world, adventuring party only type game?

Re: Final Fantasy d6 (Adult)

Steelsmiter: I'm talking about ffd6 version 1.3, the one with four attributes (PWR, RES, DEX, MND) and 15 levels. I don't know about a different one.

XarOfFlames: Open-world AND kingdom management? You are seriously speaking my language! Tell me more!

Re: Final Fantasy d6 (Adult)

The math was a lot different in the older version. There were balance issues with freelancers and geomancers. I don't know if there are now, but I never really got behind how the old attributes were repurposed to the new ones. the worst one being PWR is essentially both STR and INT. But I'm not here to ramble on about systems. I just wanted to clarify which before I was certain of my disinterest.

It's an indie found over in giantitp. Should be easy to find on the homebrew forums turning on the Original Systems prefix.

Re: Final Fantasy d6 (Adult)

I might be willing to give it try if I can come up with a good idea. But if not, would you be willing to play a game based on .hack using a slightly tweaked version of the FFd6 rules to better match the .hack setting?

Maybe efuenmayorv. I'll give it a look over at least if you don't come up with something else.

Re: Final Fantasy d6 (Adult)

Still looking for GMs for FFd6. Small group is fine (As long as Vicedets are in. I got yo' back!) and if you are uncomfortable with the system, I can help out with anything short of actually making monsters. :x

Re: Final Fantasy d6 (Adult)

Ahhhhh <3

I'm willing to help coach anybody interested in the system as well, as much as any potential GM would allow without worrying about metagaming. I never get to play this system, only run it.
