DnD 5

I'd like to jump into a game of the new DnD, preferably as a warlock or a barbarian. Doesn't need to be any sort of crazy long term game: I just want to get into and go through a short adventure or two to see how things play.

Re: DnD 5

Same, I would bring a Tielfling Paladin. I think we almost have a party? :D

Re: DnD 5

I was thinking of running the Adventure League campaign / style...
What are your thoughts?

Re: DnD 5

Sounds good.
I would like to participate as well. I would like a bloodhounds campaign, where we track down criminals or powerful monsters.

Re: DnD 5

I was thinking we could run a lot of the Adventure League Modules, it's pretty close to bloodhound style...

Re: DnD 5

Well I saw this earlier today and seem to have been beaten to the first offer. I am quite curious about dnd 5 combat balance. I would be willing to run a stint, can't commit to any long term but a few sets of encounters sound reasonable. But even if you would rather see the adventure league material I would be intrested in playing a bit or at least checking in on how this new version works out.

Re: DnD 5

Not really looking for long term: a few encounters would be nice. I've played in person and sort of lurked in some other forum games on other sites, but I'd like to play a bit on RPOL before I try my own hand at running it.

Re: DnD 5

That would be fine with me. My main desire is just to run through several combats, and maybe some non combat encounters (whatever the 5e equivalent of a skill challenge is).

Re: DnD 5

Please count me in for a handful of samples. I'd like to get a feel for the mechanics before a long-term commitment.

Re: DnD 5

I have bought the 5e PHB and I think it's really great!
I think I'll start with a ranger with the hunter archetype (at lvl. 3).

Re: DnD 5

IF you're willing, I would-be happy to run a few encounters for everyone.
