I would like to play these charicters

i am a dyed in the wool DnD 3.5 fan so unless you are running 3.5, or willing to make accommodations; please dont waste your time.

i like 60% combat 40% roleplay.
i am a big believer in the idea that roleplay and roll-play go hand in hand, you cant have one with out the other.

knowing that some of these builds may or may not be broken, i am willing to come in at a lower ECL compaired to the rest of the party.

non-standard charicters

i am still looking for a home for some of my odd characters that i have built using ALL of my books.

I want to use all my books
feat source book
class construction engine
exalted deeds
vile darkness
epic players handbook
etc.

(10.8 gigs  3969 files)

all of these are templat-ized and can be applied to most any charicter.
I am not including "the fluff" because the function of the character is the reason that I want to play them.

one home brewed class

    "feat"-est
d4 hp
player chooses 6 skills to be class skills
bad saves for all three saves
no weapon proficiency
no armor proficiency
no shield proficiency
skill points int + 2
at first and second level player gets 3 feats player than gains 2 feats per level after that

three tanks

1)sponge- max ignored damage through multiple overlapping DRs
this is done by having con 20+ and taking "toughness" than taking the feat "roll with it" for every open feat you have(pg39 savage species)

as a human barbarian 20 level DR19/-
gestalt                      DR41/-

as a human fighter 20 level DR36/-
gestalt                    DR58/-

     2)turtle- max AC/ min HP
quite literaly if it can get through his ac there is a very real chance i wont need to make a save vs massive damage because he will be dead

one build had my 5 lvl character with 16 HP and an ac of 84

3)master of daggers, that mastery gives a shield bonus.
he has the ability to "draw the aggro" all day long, while using his AC and evasion to deflect blows; or simply not be where the blow would have landed.

as a 20 level human fighter using non-masterwork daggers
   base attack 34/29/24/19
   ac 34
gestalt
   base attack 56/51/46/41
   ac 56

one undead hunter

   gestalt level 5 fighter/rogue
this a max min charicter built to fight but specilizes in the undead
is not undead, but looks, feels, smells undead
immune to mummy rot (his blood gives a +10 to a save vs any disease)
(each dose of his blood gives another save vs mummy rot)
3 separate saves to remove negative levels
healed by negative energy/harmed by pos energy
     responds to rebuke/destroy as undead
     not effected by command/control undead
     no need to sleep
     immune to exhaustion
     high resist vs poison
enough strength to pin a mummy so the party can preform a coup d'gra

one hoard killer

built around maximizing the great cleave ability
the best way to describe him is to walk you through a round of combat
enemy = hoard of 1 lvl goblins with the same ac spaced perfectly 1 per 5ft square
in a perfect grid as far as the eye can see
using a 20 level monk with perfect two weapon fighting unarmed strike
flurry 15/15/15/15/15/15/10/10/5/5

round starts i have 10 attack at 90 ft of movment

move 20ft ft to start a charge
roll to hit first goblin roll 2d10 twice, take best result
  kill first goblin
dump extra damage into neighboring goblin (equal or lesser ac) no roll required
  kill second goblin
because i charged gain additional attack at highest modifier
roll to hit third goblin roll 2d10 twice, take best result
  kill third goblin
dump extra damage into neighboring goblin (equal or lesser ac) no roll required
  kill fouth goblin
five foot step continues the charge

repeat above steps
=
fourty goblins dead

rolled 10 attacks earned an aditional 10 atacks

5 ft step out of threatened area
20 ft to move back and rejoin my party

feats allow me to
take a five ft step between cleaves
take a five ft step before applying damage to neighbor with equal or lower ac
take a five ft step before making my additional attack

as long as i do not exceed my BASE movement per round

one battle team
(required another character to take the same feats)
built around the aid other ability if built properly allows a bonus of up to +16 to ac OR attack as decided by an immediate action

one warrior

his mastery with the BO staff changes weapon block
         1d8+abl lethal damage
         crit 16-20/x6(x12 vs charge)

one epic build

(paragon psudonatural monster of legend saint)
this is the ultimate diplomat all creatures that come with in 30 ft must save vs powerful calm emotions DC 60.

quote:
have you ever wanted to negotiate the surrender of a demon, well i have.

ANY weapon must save vs sunder BEFORE reconciling damage against you.

quote:
imagine sundering a dragons tail when it tries to tail slap you

if this character is forced into combat he has improved grab
11 tentacle attacks that do 4d4+13 con damage

Re: non-standard charicters

That's because you haven't made characters, you've made the beginnings of a statblock. Characters are the story elements rather than the mechanics, and that's what gets a DM interested in making a world for the character to live in. You said you believe that roleplay and rollplay go hand in hand, but what you've presented of your concepts so far solely focuses on the latter. Where's the fluff?

Re: non-standard charicters

In reply to Ganurath (msg # 4):

Agreed. I want to see what the character looks like, what they sound like, their past, their present, their hopes and dreams, pet hates, etc.

Once I have that I am interested in the stats that will fill out a character sheet.

Also, there are a lot of D&D 3.5 games here on rpol. You should apply rather than wait for an invite. Not many GMs are simply going to wait for you, you have to get their interest...

Re: non-standard charicters

while your points are a very good advise i have been all out black listed by a single active gm, for doing just that "submitting a fully fleashed out charicter that is intentionaly broken" because i took one level of barbarian so my fighter could have fast movement.

so i am exposing the inner working of the charicters, if a gm could use any of my charicters i can put flesh on that skelliton, but until than i feel that being honest about what my charicters "could" do is better at this point than hiding it.

Re: non-standard charicters

I'll be honest if we can talk about the flesh suit, I'd be willing to have any of them.

(I won't lie the hoard killer, combat team and dagger master are the three that most catch my fancy.)

Private message me and let's talk. (I'm not entirely certain how this works, but hopefully I'm avoiding breaking any rules. My game is Once Upon a Time: The New Heroes, if that helps. I hope it's something that you might be interested in...)

I'm right that GMs are allowed to offer games to players seeking GMs? Agh...

Re: non-standard charicters

What exactly is the point to such characters? Just to kill enemies? I ask this because if you're looking for challenge you're going to leave the GM with two options:
  1.   To create counter measures that will defeat you imminently
  2.   or feebly use what they have in canon sources without considering your character.

Either way you've created characters that will have combat with a definitively forgone conclusion. Which seems somewhat counterproductive since that's 60% of your interest, going through the motions and rolling superfluous dice. So I'm curious what I'm missing... What is the intended objective?

This doesn't even bear in mind the other players impact on the game. Will they be equally as ridiculously broken? Will they be your sidekicks to cheer on your inevitable victory?

As a GM I always try to discern expectations of my players. So I guess that's what I'm after.

dis regard the characters proposed at the beginning of this thread they are designed for a game where all characters are on the same tier of power.
