I'm returning to RPOL after a very long hiatus and I'd like to see if a GM out there would like to get me back in the swing of things.

Here are some guidelines for what I'm looking for:

* The game should be brand new or just getting started on the character creating process. I have trouble catching up with long running games and I'd rather start fresh and have some input in the creative process.

* The game should be very active. I usually have a lot of time in the day to kill and I really enjoy a rapid fire pace with posts in a game. I think it helps to keep things engaging and interesting so nobody gets bored and wanders off.

* The group of players shouldn't be too huge. I really enjoy a more personal approach to gaming and having too many people means splitting the GMs attention among a larger group so there's less time to focus on really getting to know the characters and the setting.

* The settings I'd enjoy playing in are gritty low-fantasy, space opera-ish science fiction (like a Star Wars-esque sort of thing), a low tech sci-fi setting. I'm open to other settings that stray from those genres but I definitely would prefer an original setting to something from fiction.

* I'd prefer a Mature game and I'm okay with an Adult game (I'm 29 years old and legally allowed to engage in such a game) if it's done with some maturity.

If you think you're interested in running a game like this please let me know. I'm eager to start playing again.
