Legend of Five Rings, 4th edition

Anyone running a game or planning on starting one. I've got several good character ideas, but little chance of playing them.

Re: Legend of Five Rings, 4th edition

I have a d&d oriental adventures game going with the L5R supplements in play. Kind of a mash up

Re: Legend of Five Rings, 4th edition

A mash-up of rules or just story?

Re: Legend of Five Rings, 4th edition

The rules are based on D&D 3.5, Oriental adventure. The L5R is being used for the setting, clans, additional classes, history and background.

Thanks. That's not the game I'm looking for.

Re: Legend of Five Rings, 4th edition

I'd enjoy some L5R 4E, because I still need to learn more about the social setting and politics; the noncombat stuff. Anyone have the Sword and Fan book? Might help out with learning that stuff.

Re: Legend of Five Rings, 4th edition

would also like to play. Understand rules and some history bought the original just did not keep up with all supplements.  Have 4th edition> love oriental role playing. I ran Bushido for years

Re: Legend of Five Rings, 4th edition

I would love to learn. I'm a total freshy though. No prior experience.

Can borrow any source books from a friend.

Hoping someone out there would be interested in taking me under their wing...

In reply to Claire Redfield (msg # 9):

I bought a copy yesterday, and am reading through it at the moment.

If a Roll&Keep game starts up, the current Winter Court application questions 15-20 (or similarly constructed questions) might help gauging areas of player interest.

Re: Legend of Five Rings, 4th edition

I've got all the published books for the 4E and I'd be more than happy to play. Just would prefer if someone else ran the campaign for now as I've got some family obligations.

Re: Legend of Five Rings, 4th edition

Wow, lots of people interested! That is awesome.

I'd jump in and offer to run, but I'm a little busy at the moment. I'd love to play in an L5R game. Here's hoping someone picks up the GM stick.
