pathfinder or 3.5

Looking for any non-arena style pathfinder or 3.5 game. Due to time constraints I am looking for a slow but steady game (once every other day or so).  Groups I am looking for are Mature, friendly, and understanding.

Hoping for a game where the DM is open minded, dice are rolled, and all or most official books are used. However, I'll settle for just an open-minded DM if the back ground of the game and the group are good.

Simply put I would like to play a pathfinder or 3.5 game and just have fun.

Re: pathfinder or 3.5

Same here.  I'd love to have a nice, *NORMAL* game.

Normal, as in not gestalt, not "you are all from this extremely narrow background that gives no leeway what-so-ever for character concepts", not "you all have this horrible curse on your heads that makes weird things happen", or any of the various other things that seem to be all the rage on RPOL these days.

A nice, normal Pathfinder game.  Hell, I'd settle for an old fashioned "You all meet in the tavern" introduction (although frankly I think going the route Guardians of the Galaxy did where everybody meets up in prison and the first adventure is just escaping would be awesome).

Do people just not do normal anymore?  Do they all think its boring if the game doesn't have some gimmicky twist to it?

Re: pathfinder or 3.5

I've been tossing around the idea of running a pathfinder adventure path.  Also trying to "pay it forward" for all the games I've played in by running one myself.  I'm leaning towards doing the Kingmaker adventure path.  Would there be interest in this?

Re: pathfinder or 3.5

If its low level like level 2-3, I'd be game but never played a Pathfinder game before.

In reply to Rez (msg # 4):

Yeah, Kingmaker starts out at level 1.  I don't think you'd have too much trouble.  You'd probably want to play a halfling ranger, right?

In reply to angryjohn (msg # 3):

I would be interested. I'm new to this site and everything in this thread is exactly what I came looking for. Normal pathfinder games are right up my alley. I've also played the begginings of a couple adventure paths(kingmaker included) and I love what paizo does with them. I'd really like to play one to completion.

Re: pathfinder or 3.5

Okay, there seems to be some interest here.  I've never run a game on RPoL, so tonight or tomorrow I'll try to see if I can figure out how to set up a game and then post a link here, if you're all still interested.

Re: pathfinder or 3.5

As promised, I created the Kingmaker game here:
link to another game

If you're interested, send me a RTJ with an initial character concept and a statement that you are aware this a mature game.  We can work out all the nuts and bolts and handle actual character creation in the game thread.
