I'd like players to be able to use almost any canon source book (with some Eberron and Forgotten Realms races and classes even). I'd also like to see a slightly higher point buy used than what's in the PHB.
If there's room I'd like to be able to play two characters, since I've had very little opportunity to play D&D 4.0 and I tend to enjoy playing more than one character in the games I'm allowed to. It both helps me learn and also stretches my roleplaying muscles.

I would join a game like this one as a player. Every time I join a D&D 4.0 game, it dies in the few next weeks. :(
