Looking for solo DnD 4th Edition game
Hello (again), whomever may be reading this ;).
I've been wanting for a while now to play a game involving a couple of characters I made a while back (as in, a couple of years ago...maybe a little longer) for a tabletop game run by my dad. I'd made a four-character party so each of the four main roles was filled. I ended up deciding I really liked two of these characters (who had a joint backstory, while the other two characters' backstories were joined with each other but not with these two) and would like I play them some more - the game they were in didn't really last too long due to lack of time to play and stuff :(.
If there is someone out there who'd like to run a game for them, that would be cool. I won't pour out every last little detail here but to give you an idea, they are both "unusual" races (one of which is considered a "monster" race, but is still humanoid), perhaps a little "morally ambiguous"...they're not outright bad guys but if they saw a village being raided by bandits they're just as likely to go "Hmm, that place looks like trouble - let's give it a miss" as "Oh, some people are being killed, maybe we should help them" ;). They have no specific home and are generally just wandering around seeing what the world has to offer - they are fine with living rough and all that. They will both become very irate, very quickly if the other is harmed/threatened, though are likely to react in different ways. They tend to prefer to stick together, for their own separate reasons - one protects the other, who looks out for him in other ways, and both provide general company for each other to talk to and stuff.
Role-wise, they are a Defender and a Striker. I did have character sheets for them but since getting a new computer I can't use the old Character Builder any more so I'm now using Hero Lab and will have to recreate their sheets...but this shouldn't take long. I like to use the "4d6 remove lowest" method of rolling stats (rolling my own dice, on my desk, because I don't like automated die rollers and the one on here seems to hate me anyway :P), and would prefer to start at a level no higher than three, since that's the level they got to before - starting at level one is fine, though :).
I'm really just looking for some kind of adventure for them to have so I have an excuse to RP them interacting with each other and with other people and stuff, and develop their characters some more just because I like them. It doesn't have to be a dungeon crawl, or a "save the world" level of plot, and wouldn't work as any kind of political-machinations kind of thing (since neither character cares about...well, politics and stuff). Maybe just start with something generic and see what develops from there? I dunno. That'd be your job, as the GM, whomever you might be. If, indeed, someone is interested.
I might just go and sort out their sheets anyway, just in case I have any takers here. Thanks in advance if anyone is interested and in the event that more than one person is so, I apologise to any I may have to turn down (but if the first GM doesn't work out for whatever reason then maybe you'll still get your chance ;)).
Meanwhile I'll just sit here and melt because omg the temperatures here in England atm, bleerrrggghhh...
