I've read over the Basic D&D PDF and would love to give the game a try. From the different reviews I've read online, it seems like the adventure from the Starter Set, Lost Mine of Phandelver, is a nice introduction to the game and a decent adventure in its own right.

Any active DMs out there willing to run this adventure for a curious player with zero D&D 5e experience? I have loads of Pathfinder experience (PbP & RL, GM & player) under my belt, and would likely be able to bring at least one other player on board.

I'd be curious in playing; not in GMing.

Ill play if a gms is found. Last three groups i rtj'd just ignored me with no word either way after having me to create a char so no repeating of those occurances!

I am interested in playing if a DM steps forward.

To all you potential GMs out there sitting on a copy of the D&D Starter Set - there are four players here willing and ready to play the Lost Mine of Phandelver. All you've got to do is say the words, "Sure, I'll run it!"

I've wanted to try out D&D 5e back when it was still being called D&D Next. It's nice to have players ready to go!
