L5R

I'd absolutely love to take part in some Legend of the Five Rings action!
Would anyone be willing to run a game, era and set up unimportant to me!
Here's hoping...

In reply to the_outer_church (msg # 1):

I have a copy of 3rd Edition's main book, and old sourcebooks, I could kludge something together and act as GM.

I always loved this game!

Re: L5R

Sounds fun. I would be interested in partaking as a player.

Re: L5R

I haven't had the chance to whip out the ol' katana (or scroll or tetsubo or ninja-to) in a good while! I'd like to join too.

Re: L5R

I'd definitely be interested in hearing more, if anyone starts up a 4e game.

Re: L5R

I have been pondering setting up a L5R 4E game myself.  Not sure which time period I would set it in, or how much my ill health would interfere with it which is why I haven't done it yet.

Re: L5R

I'm not sure how one would organise it, but if you want to start up a game and might have issues, have you considered a less centralised GMing model?

Re: L5R

There could be a Sandbox style.  A centralized location like say The City of Lies could be made and the characters kept in that area.  A GM with a settled theme and set of adventures could be setup with Co-GMs helping to field player actions and their own ambitions and goals.  Thereby you have a game with a sandbox feel as the characters move for their own power, but also holding a central plot and theme with the central GM.

Re: L5R

I'd like to play in a game as well.  I tried to start one last year, but people started dropping like flies and I didn't have the timing down for what I wanted to do, but I might give it another go.  I wouldn't mind co-gming, if I could also have a PC under a different GM.

Re: L5R

I had a campaign, or at least everything up until the "press select to start game" up for a game. It didn't start as I had almost no time to dedicate to it.

i can restart this world since i have all the info still, and room. I like to keep play at 2-3 posts a day if out of combat, per person to keep things active and moving along.

PM me if this sounds like it can work for you

Re: L5R

i was using the oriental books from d&d 3.5 as well as the L5R books. I had never run an actual L5R campaign so I was going to ease into it with Oriental D&D as a base
