I'd really like to play a game set in a futuristic Ghost-in-the-Shell style Rokugan.  Instead of being spread out over the countryside you would have the Imperial Palace crouched behind massive walls and surrounded by gleaming Arcologies belonging to the various Great Clans.  Large standing armies would be replaced by specialty strike teams.  Shinobi flitting about in form-fitting bodygloves with the latest night-vision devices lighting their paths.  Plenty of intrigue and low-level conflict as the various clans vie for power and status.

I could see using at least three different rule sets for this game.  I originally got the idea looking over someone's conversion for L5R on the Alderac forums.  Tenra Bashra Zero would also support such a game quite well.  My personal favorite/preference would be Shadowrun 5'th Edition.  All of these systems would also support a spiritual element which I feel would enrich the game even further.

Such a cool idea. I'm not an expert on TBZ or Shadowrun, but I'd love to throw my hat into the ring as a player, too.

I am not terribly familier with the world, but I had the opportunity to build a (shadowrun )charicter and played for one in person session before the game master vanished; what I did experiance I realy liked. If you find a patient GM I would be interested in playing as well.

I would love to play as well, not partial to any system either.

I know someone wants to run a game of intrigue and honor!  Unicorn power-armor with its distinctive speed and horned helmets facing off against swarms of spirits brought forth by Phoenix sorcerers!  Scorpion provocateurs stalking the boardrooms and nightclubs of the never-sleeping capital city!

I really want this game to happen. I would play the hell out of it.

It never was anything but a request.  GM's for this kind of thing are hard to come by it seems.

I'll still play if this happens.

I'd be happy to play in either version (TBZ or SR) of this, though I'd add the suggestions of Eclipse Phase, Interface Zero, or Nova Praxis. (while they would lend themselves better to an 'Empire of the Emerald Stars' game, I'm much more interested in Cyberpunk Rokugan)

TBZ would get preference between the first two. I haven't had the chance to play it, but it has a more cinematic feel, imo.

Yes, it is sometimes hard to even get a regular L5R game on this sight, such a specialized one would need a really passionate GM.  Again, would love to partake. Rokugan 2k is brilliant. Cyberpunk Rokugan just has such potential.

This is what I have.  I make no promises as to how effective it is as I don't really play with the L5R rules much.  That said, I'd be willing to learn for a decent game.
