Really want to take part in a Deathwatch game or something 40k related.

40K games die so quickly here. I've tried to run several and the players always end up fading away into smoke.

There are a couple of Only War games just starting at the moment just fyi...

I find this to. I think I've only ever been in one game here, right at the beginning when dark heresy came out , that lasted over a year.

Most games die within months which I just don't understand as the rules are straight forward :(

I've got an Only War game starting up if that's of interest. Not Deathwatch but it is 40k. Going to sift through the RTJ's when I'm off tomorrow. Had quite a few already but feel free to fire one in.

I'd also really like to get into a game set in the 40k universe. I haven't had much luck on RPoL with it yet.

I'd mainly be interested in running Dark Heresy, but could be convinced to run Deathwatch. What is most attractive to me about DH is the starting power level is quite low. There are less rules to keep track of (from a GM's perspective). Would a DH game interest any of you? If I were to set one up, would I have some commitment from the players that they would remain with the game and not abandon it through inactivity (as has happened here with every 40K game I've ever tried to run)?

A DH game would be fun and I for one would stick with it as long as it is viable.

It's been quite some time since I last did, but I would also be interested in playing Dark Heresy if you were willing to make a game.

I'm cookin' up some ideas as we speak (i.e. flipping through the pages of Disciples of the Dark Gods). I may have something up before the end of the night if I can populate some plot lines in Realm Works (definitely recommend Realm Works for GMs and players alike).

I have a fast and furious rules-set, not the lumberous combat system from Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, but all that means is, you get tp play the hero you like, not have to wait four years until you are happy with the powers of your character.  The game runs on a fast-and-lite system which resolves combats quickly and with the maximum narrative yield.
