Overpowered Cheese

I would like a fun game that the point is to have overpowered cheesy characters.  Think Min/Max from the goblins web comic.  I don't want this to be a serious game, lets have comedy elements like in order of the stick (the characters know they are characters in a game and often break the 4th wall).  A random dungeon generator with random treasure would be fine.  I don't expect an in-depth story but something to goof around with.

I think this would lend itself to 3.x/PF Gestalt rules it doesn't have to, there are other systems that it would work well with including 7th sea and shadowrun (the other two game systems I'm deeply familiar with).

I would run it myself but my lifeload doesn't look like I can allocate the time to properly running this.

Of course despite the call of overpowered cheese I still think concepts that run along the lines of Pun-Pun should be rejected with extreme prejudice.

Re: Overpowered Cheese

If you're cool with minimal depth, I can run an infinite, random dungeon. Not too many players though, maybe 4 at most.

Likely I'll use you to be my guinea pigs for adventure shorts at times.

I'll have something going by the weekend.

In reply to criticalmass1984 (msg # 3):

Kinda reminds me of my COMIC: the tabletop game. Used whitewolf system and starts at a college that gets over run by intelligent zombies.

Re: Overpowered Cheese

I'd be up for such a game. If for no other reasons than just to learn how cheese is defined and also a chance to take a break from the usual serious fare I play/GM.

Re: Overpowered Cheese

I had a game like this but no one joined. the game was mostly just a collosium but no one left to explore the city let alone the world beyond. if there is enough interest I can restart it.

Re: Overpowered Cheese

well we have at least 3 people who have expressed interest in playing a couple of offers to run it.  If anyone starts it then it looks like there would be some players for it.
