I dig giant robots!

I hope you do too, because I'm looking for a mecha game, preferably run using Chris Perrin's Mecha from Heroic Journey Publishing.

If you've never heard of Mecha before, it's a rules-light system with fairly simple character creation, good guidelines for setting creation (including three pre-made settings), and a play structure that ensures everyone gets some focus on their character.

I'm up for any sort of game, from silly to serious, and will be able to post at least three times a week, probably more.

Re: I dig giant robots!

While it may or may not be up your alley, I'd be interested in a mecha-centric game using Tenra Bansho Zero.

Re: I dig giant robots!

I like some Robotech / Jovian Chronicles styled mechanisms myself.

The title made me think of Megas  XLR.

Re: I dig giant robots!

I have read most of the Mecha book and would be keen on giving it a go. I have a couple of ideas of my own and liked some of the stuff I saw in their settings. I was curious as to what your preferences were. If you liked one of the ones from the book I could simply use it. It would save time as I would not have to write everything up myself. If I am going to write something up we can discuss what we want perhaps start up a game and allow people to give input before we start if there are interested parties. Feel free to rMail me if you want to avoid cluttering up this thread or we can discuss it here.
