Hello Fellow DMs

Our group is in need of another CO-DM this is our first request. We are looking for strictly a Co-GM to help and handle COMBAT.

The setting is L5R using 4th Ed. Rules. We have a google website with some (minor) info. for this play by post game and on RPOL.

The Co-GM will be allowed to control limited NPCs for the game. There are very few restrictions and the game is very heavy Role-Play so much so that we have not yet had a combat with the current group.

The Game

What kind of game is this?
Based on L5R and the Rokugan setting by AEG. Little Home-brew/House-rules, and continuously evolving.

What kind of roleplay is this?
a. Roleplay heavy (combat happens normally but is not the focus of the game)
b. Large freedom of roleplay - players will rarely be guided by the GM
c. Low magic and Mid fantasy
d. Beginners and experienced players both welcome

What is expected of the Co-GM?
24h-rule: Co-GM should do their best to log in and post at least once a day to keep the game flowing (this does not apply on weekends and when not in combat) but should chit chat with players often.

Co-GM should do their best to read the info posted on the external website and on RPoL in order to better understand the game setting and helping with the calibration of any House Rules.

Co-GM will be handed NPCs to play freely or handle with instructions from time to time this is not the nor the CO-GM will mainly handle Combat and ruling for combat.

Please keep in mind when you apply that combat is not the focus of this game and it could be months between combat.


Timeline:

The game begins in the year 901 and all pre-Scorpion Coup of 1123, which is quite possibly the most important turning point in the history of Rokugan. The events during this setting lead up to this utterly chaotic time when the Emperor is assassinated by his own spymaster, a Great Clan and the family of a Kami is cast out of Rokugan, and not one, but two men not born to the Hantei family tries to laid claim to the Imperial Throne. The after-effects of these events will echo across the Empire for generations to come, But what leads up to this event is just as important.

Current adventure taking place in:

Dragonfly Lands: The characters have or are journeying to the Village of Neoku. Winter is coming and the Courts will soon house their guests for winter. You and many others have been invited to the first ever Winter Court of the Dragonfly that is not being hosted in their main lands, but just on the borders of the newly acquired lands from the Lion.
