I've been reading
Kim lately, and it re-sparked my old fondness for Indian culture. Bustling bazaars, culture clashes, caste and religious divides, tons of very different languages, and unique and dramatic locales all make for a really diverse setting. I was thinking either colonial or pre-colonial India, or a similar, fictional setting (like Sri Raji, Sahasra, etc). Post-colonial India would be a bit too modern and less interesting for me, personally.
I'm open to any system
except free-form. Pathfinder, Fate, D&D Next or 4e would be neat, but I'm willing to try other systems.
In case it might be useful, I found a huge list of books
http://boardgamegeek.com/geekl...-themed-rpg-products . Although many are unavailable, I thought there'd be no harm in sharing the link.
Any GMs keen on running a game like this?
