My character concept (in brief):

The CEO of NowCo, who maintained a dual identity as Black Knight (think Iron Man with a Batman aesthetic... stealth armor, etc.). An unknown assailant killed her father and someone else (or the same person) has taken over as Black Knight. My PC, his daughter Danica Brink, does not know who. Perhaps her own estranged brother.

So she has undergone extensive femtotech surgery (a gift once promised to her father, which she refused) and now has the power to manipulate the EM. Shoot forth EM charge and annul gravity. She also a hoverboard she uses to focus her powers so she can fly without having to concentrate on it. As Slipstream, Danica sets out to solve these mysteries and fight corruption and violence in her high tech home city.

Since I do not work well with complicated rules, I would like to use either a rules-light system or do rules-invisible. For tone: no magic, aliens, gratuitous goofiness. Think the recently released FATE setting "Venture City Stories" (perhaps the game could even take place there?).
