I'm looking to join another game or two; for the time being, I have a LOT of time I can put towards character creation, and am willing to if a game looks like it might be around for a while.

My preferences/requirements are as follows;
 - I am partial to 3.5, Pathfinder, Arcana Unearthed/Evolved, or BESM d20, but if it's d20 and I can get ahold of the books I will keep an open mind.  Freeform is also an option.
 - I won't play in a game without magic (or a sufficient scientific substitution.  Clarke has something to say on the matter).
 - Gestalt and Psionics; these are things I tend to enjoy, but do not by any means require.
 - I am not a fan of obviously unfair alterations (like, say, d20 druids spells per day increased beyond that of the sorcerer, or wizards proficient in 'magical item (as in sword);' both are things I have unfortunately seen).
 - A certain level of logic (if all cloth a character touches turns to gold, he will quickly lose value for the stuff and yearn for a soft bed at night and clothing that doesn't scratch quite so badly).
 - I like posts to be hearty, colorful, and display at least a basic understanding of English grammar and syntax.  Call me what you will, but I downright refuse to participate in a game where the expectation of a post looks like the following; 'george draws his sword, and I take a swing at the bandit. youll not live! i say!'

As a player;
 - I don't abandon games without giving notice.
 - I can play in adult rated games (and prefer them, largely).
 - I try to keep an open mind with regards to settings, house rules, and other modifications.
