D&D 3.5 game with three groups seeking Co-GM

Here is the game link link to another game (THIS GAME IS RATED MATURE)

I've had good luck with a couple core players in my Legends portion and will be starting the Legacy portion in a couple weeks or so. The Legacy portion already has some very devoted and eager players and I'd like to give them the best experience I can.

So I'm recruiting a Co-GM mainly for the Legacy portion, though this person will need to be aware of the Legend portion as well so as not to create any paradox or any problems with continuity.

Some points of importance for any interested Co-GM.
  • No pet NPCs. The players are more focal than the NPCs. That is not to say NPCs are less integral just that their place on stage should be succinct and promote player opportunity, not player overshadowing. NPCs will mostly be provided for you and you'll have the opportunity to "earn" your own NPCs by successful completions of periods in the game. To begin with you'll use my NPCs and Monsters I've created. If you stay on board and do well you'll be allowed to submit your own NPCs to be written into the story and have opportunity to implement them. The rule is and always will be that there are no pet NPCs.
  • If you don't color speech text and format text to emphasize speech you won't be a good fit for this game. There will be rules on how to format and color text but it's mostly loose and basically "Color speech and format words with emphasis but don't make it excessive." People love and hate it on RPOL. If you like it feel free to RTJ. If you hate it, enjoy hating it in another game because that's just how I GM.
  • Co-GMs will be exempt from ever playing in the game as a PC. Too many spoilers will be given that will make objective play impractical.
  • Co-GMs run scenes not story-lines or plots. In the scene they will be given parameters. Within those parameters they will be given free reign of the scene and have full permission to kill, trick, encourage or caution PCs. They are also free to invent any material that is neither convoluted ("You have the same portrait as another PC. Suddenly you realize the two of you are twins separated at birth!") nor contingent upon events outside of the scene ("An army is invading another village while you fight, and one of the soldiers teleports to inform you of this!" or "After the sage explains that Ao doesn't have clerics, he begins to lead the group to a secret temple dedicated to the god of gods".) Consider it like running a module that updates as you go with less box text and more tailor-made for the players and your style as a GM.
  • The story is long but it will travel toward a conclusion. The game has definitive endings being crafted as the game progresses. These endings are unlikely to be reached in just a few RL years, but until the last original player leaves, the game will go on. It will have frequent pauses, especially when an act or story is finished, PCs gain a level, or RL holds a gun to one of our heads and makes us stay away from RPOL.
  • GMs are subject to the same rules as anyone else.
  • You do not make game-wide rules decisions. If a rule clarification comes into question always contact me.
  • Finally, If you join on a as GM and for whatever reason aren't going to post anymore you need to let me know. If I see you've logged on after I inquired why you haven't posted, I'll not just remove you but ban you. Sometimes you can't post, but you need to let us know that so the game doesn't slow down, possibly because you've just lost interest and want to avoid confronting the fact by letting us know that.

I believe in always being as thorough as possible so everyone knows what to expect and no one is surprised by any of this after they've already established a perception of the game.

If you've read all that and still want to help me then you obviously don't have reservations with your position.

The story line is pretty well written in the Game Introduction and so I'll just invite anyone interested to read that over.

Basically in a nutshell you have Fiends that invaded. There were three main sides; The Baatezu (Devils), the Tanar'ri (Demons) and then everyone in their way. Both Fiendish armies were more concerned with each other, but took advantage of the pleasures of razing mortal civilizations and pillaging the ample supplies of these locales.

Fiend War introduces legendary heroes that save the Kingdom closest to the Fiend War. Said legends save the world and banish the demons with some help from some younger gods. Then the legends soon disappear.

In the Legacy groups (there will be two), the PC soldiers were veterans in the Fiend War but not the true Legends. They will be responsible for holding the position the Legends left the world in.

The Legends group has already started. Their story takes place years later and they are responsible for assisting the King whom they swore allegiance to when they left. They have returned after the King made declaration to his council that the Giants have been allowed to ruin the prosperity of the kingdom and that in lieu of any real benevolence or conviction of the council the Legends will be called back to save the Kingdom once more.

The Legends get a head start but lose some vital information about what has happened in their absence.

The Legacy is a prelude game to the Legends return.

Thank you for your interest. In observation of this board's rules please contact me by an Rmail or RTJ to the game: link to another game let me know that you're interested in becoming a Co-GM, otherwise I might think you're just wanting to be a player in a closed game.

Position open...

The game is getting going and we're going to be embarking upon another action sequence in all three groups. If you're interested in some mid-level and high-level combat GMing as well as being able affect a cooperative world please feel free to RTJ as a GM.

Re: D&D 3.5 game with three groups seeking Co-GM

We are at a very critical juncture and having a Co-GM join the near future would be most advantageous. Thee are now only two groups, as players have disappeared. The Legendary is about to start the next objective, having completed two vital objectives. The Legacy group is about to engage into a siege with some preparation forewarning.

We have a variety of positions available depending on the prospective Co-GMs' activity and comfort levels. So I'd be willing to accept up to three such people.

Please RTJ rather than post here if you have questions. Remember, you are not permitted to reply here, and if you do I will probably never see it since it will be deleted by a mod.

Thank you for your interest. I look forward to hearing from you.

Edit: The link to the game is in the first post.
