I ran a DND silent hill game but no one joined.

I think Freeform is the best bet but not sure.

If someone wants to run this an ddo DND 3.5 or Wheel of Time, or Freeform I'm game.

I don't think a medieval system works. I don't want freeform. I was hoping for something like nWoD or the Window.

Still wishing for a GM here. Any takers?

I'm looking into a couple of game options; A Star Wars game, Zombie Apoc, or.... I'm intrigued by the Window as a system, and applying some FATE to it as well. I never played silent hill, saw the first movie (was there a second) and have very general idea of the concept.

What are you looking for as a basic storyline? The likelihood of this being a railroad seems pretty high considering the nature of what I remember of the story.  Give me an idea about your main character and the plot hook you want to see.

I've been a player in a couple games run by doom in the past, and as he mentioned he would like to have at least one other player.  I would be happy to join in a game like this if we have similar thoughts as to what the style of the story and characters should be.

I would prefer not to spill all the good secrets out in the open. Secrets are the best part of Silent Hill...

Hey Doom, I just wanted to let you know that I missed your post. I figured you would rmail me. Being new to the site, I guess I'm not up on etiquette. At any rate, my game card is full now. I'm in the birth process of a post zombie apocalypse game using The Window/FATE mechanics.

Well. What would be a preferred system? I've had some pretty good luck running Silent Hill in both True20 and Call of Cthulhu, although the latter was far deadlier.

I could possibly use tremulus (an Apocalypse World derivative), Fear Itself/Trail of Cthulhu (Gumshoe system), d20 Modern, AFMBE/Unisystem. Just a lot of ways this could go.

The only two I know from your list 20 modern and AFMBE, either would be fine.

I would prefer AFMBE of the systems I know in that list.  I have the book for Trail of Cthulhu, but I haven't played it.  I imagine it would probably be very suitable for the game, though.

AFMBE sounds fine to Moi.

I'll brush up on the rules and see if I can eke out enough free time to get something going.

I own AFMBE but also I think nWoD could work too after reading the God-Machine stuff...

Rules reviewed, definitely doing AFMBE. Home life is kind of in ruins, so give me a week or so to sort things out.

This game never got off the ground. Still we had three willing players and a co-gm who was and is still willing to help with rules. The game is solely owned by the gm so taking over the board is not possible at this time.

I am putting out the call, once again, for a GM to run this game. I have ideas to help get started. Please someone...
