I have a character concept i'd like to play - a god, currently reduced to mortal status and not at all happy about it but with much of his power intact. Not exactly an evil god, but kind of a jerk and an an aggressive, destructive megalomaniac. He would have something around Dragonball Z level power, with a preference for throwing enormous fireballs and drowning his many enemies in liberal amounts of hot molten lava.

This is the kind of character that is intended to be solve most of his problems with violence and mass destruction. He needs opponents and problems sufficient to challenge him as a result. Despite his many, many personality flaws he is actually not a bad team player, and somehow despite the amount of destruction he causes innocent bystanders never seem to get hurt in his rampages.

I have no preference system-wise except that I won't do freeform, though something that supports over-the-top action is a must, and I'd even enjoy playing him in a game with other players if anyone had an appropriate game. Any takers? The story beyond 'fallen god of fiery destruction with a bad attitude' is up to the GM.

I imagine your character isn't a team player. More a Solo Guy.

Solo D10, Buddy D8, Team D6
Distinction (D8 or D4+PP)
- Fallen God.
- aggressive & destructive
- Self confident
Piece of Goodhood power.
Superhuman Flight D10, Enhanced strenght D8, Enhanced Durability D8, Enhanced Stamina D8, Energy blast D10, Enhanced Speed D8.
SFX : Molten lava (Area effect). Add a die & keep a effect for each additional target.
SFX : Versatile. Use Energy Blast at D12 for a action. Then at 2D8 or 3D6 for the next until activating a opportunity for recover original D10 power.
SFX : Multipower. Use two or more Piece of Goodhood Power in a single dice pool at -1 step for each additional power.
Limite : Word of power*. Shutdown Piece of Goodhood power and gain a PP. Take a action VS the doom pole or activate a opportunity for recovering power.
Specialty :
Combat Expert D8, Mystical Master D10, Cosmic Master D10.
(You may covert Expert D8 to 2D6 or Master D10 to 2D8 & 4D6).

Milestone exemple :
Want to have some fun.
1XP. When you fight a new powerfull foes for the first time.
3XP. When you are wanted by the cops or the army, or have a bounty on you because you are see like a danger
10Xp. When easer you make a huge collateral dommage around you, or that you choose to stop fighting for save innocent from a catastrophic event.
Recover the other piece.
1XP. When you search for a lead which lead you to a part of your original power.
3XP. When you fight someone or something who made his a part of your original power.
10XP. When you choose to let go a part of your power, or that you are ready to kill innocent for get him back.
Humility
1XP. When you see someone in need and helping him
3XP. When you attract a foes somewhere safe for keeping innocent safe.
10XP. When you goes to someone for help or in contrary choose to carry on alone what mater coming up.

*Like Dc's Captain Marvel or Marvel's Thor, I see your character with a time of power. Maybe with a object (Like mjolnir), a world (Like Shazam), or just a timeframe (Like Hourman or the original Thor who change back to Human when the hammer was separate for him). That may be also by Anger (Like Bruce Banner to hulk). Or only when you are close to a piece of your power (Tricky this one ^^ ).
So for your human part. You have to think how he is. Do he remember been the other character for exemple. Or if their his a echange of place between a human and you (Like Marvel's Captain Marvel & Rick jones). Or just the same man but just human.

I think a quest for your power will be more interresting that a ultimate Goodhood character that not have any foes that may seriously arm him That Why I choose the Enhanced D8. At first I have start with Superhuman D10. But I think that will be more a challenge for your character and he will definitly want recover his D12 Goodhood for all his actual power and recover some of those he lost. Like Teleportation for exemple.

Still looking for a place to try this character out. I will grudgingly tone down the power level if necessary, and please note that i don't intend this to be a one-dimensional portrayal of a character. How he starts may not be the way he ends up.

I like the character-concept. ;) much like someone I would like play myself.
I could imagine to raise my dead Dragonball Z game and take you in. I do need a place to test out my revised houserules for that. Will get back to this thought at the weekend.

I wouldn't want to play a DBZ game as this character, i was just using DBZ as a power level comparison.  I might play a dbz game - just not with this guy.

This is an intereswting way to request a game. I have seen players ask to bring in older PCs from previous games, but I don't recall ever before now seeing a player request a game by way of the character. You might have just caught us unawares with an unusual request, Eternaldarkness. Fortunately, roleplayers are good at improvising. This character reminds me of Masamune Shirow's manga, Orion. This character actually would have fit just fine in the Senzar game that I run, but we are wrapping up that campaign currently. I'm sure there are some other games and scenarios in which the fallen god would fit, but I'll need to give the matter some thought.

Still looking to play this one. In general, i'm looking to play high-powered characters, as after nearly twenty years of gaming i've done the low-level zero-to-hero story enough times that it isn't fun anymore.

I am not sure how I would work you into my game but it would be fun.

You would be stepping in as the leader of the resistance and would have significant political powere as well
