1890s/1920s Call of Cthulhu

As the title says, I'm after a game of CoC set in the 1890s or 1920s.  It could be anywhere in the world, and outside the usual areas (i.e. New England) would be appreciated, but not necessary.  The US is fine, but don't be afraid to set it elsewhere.

I don't want to put a potential GM off by rattling off specific ideas for setting, but if you'd like to run a game, but you're not sure where/when to set it, I have a few ideas, so just ask.  If you know exactly what you want to do already, go right ahead.

I tend to favour heavy RP, and don't need a lot of combat/action, but as long as it's not more than 50% of what's going on, that's fine.

I doubt I would be the best GM for this, but I would be interested if this game got started.

I'll gm for this. I have a 1920's Scenario I made that needs someone who is either a P.I. or a relative of a dead Japanese man.

Also, if there is a lot of combat in CoC you usually end up dying or going insane :/. As the nature of the game.

That is an odd prerequisite.

In reply to WarynJasra (msg # 5):

In most of HP Lovecraf's novels that is how most come to investigate. You have some in game motivation or reason to be involved with the mythos. If you have no in game reason to investigate then it would not be a roleplaying game, would it? Of course there are other ways to be brought into investigation such as finding a book or somone telling you or a plethora of ways actually. So as a matter of fact you are correct it is an odd restriction. So actually nevermind, you can be any kind of character you want. No prerequisite.

I've started a 1920s game: link to another game  IT'S RATED MATURE.

The CoC/BRP system is not my favorite but I am always willing to run Gaslight games in India.
