I could certainly give interested players a quick primer on the basic mechanics of the system; however, I'm afraid that it wouldn't do the game justice. The designers have done a great job of developing the atmosphere and fleshing out the world of Tri-Kazel and there's just no way I could fit that kind of detail into a few posts. It's not cheap but I would certainly recommend that players buy Book 1 - Universe. Other than that, I think they'll eventually be launching a Kickstarter for Book 0 - Prologue which contains everything a new player would require.

All that being said, I'd still be willing to try to explain it to anyone who is interested.

Good news. They've started up the Kickstarter for Book 0 Prologue. They're also selling it for $5 on the Studio 2 site. It's got a summary of the rules and the universe, among other things.

For those who want to get the book but haven't yet, this is a great oppertunity to not only get the pdf of Book ) (adventure book with 3 adventures, and a rules light guidelines to the rules of the game + 6 premade characters. And all of this with full color art) Also, you can get the Core Rulebook at a cheap price along with the Adventure book too.

Hopefully ppl get into this, so we can get a game going!

Got the PDF''s

Did you get both Book 0 and Book 1? From studio 2 or did you back the kickstarter? (I've backed the ridiculously successful Kickstarter for book 0, but pdfs will be delivered once the Kickstarter is over) :)

Also, still waiting for a worthy Narrator/Game Leader to run a game of this for us. You can run your own adventure, or one of the 3 adventures from Book 0, the adventure book.

I didn't do the kickstarter because I wanted to get the pdf's now.

If my life slows down I would run one of the prologue adventures, but that isn't going to happen for a while.

It seems as though you can actually get the PDF from the store now and then reduce your Kickstarter pledge by the $5 it cost. That way you can get the book immediately and still get some of the other stuff for pledging. Go to the Kickstarter page and do a search for "Option 1".

Hmmm, the first adventure in Prologue is awesome, but would not work on Rpol very well.  Will have to see about adventure 2.

Is there no one out there willing to run a great game, even one of the short but flavorful adventures in the adventure book  aka book 0? (which is available for free btw as a pdf)

This game would really scratch the medieval horror itch. Plus it is rules light so it shouldn't take too much time during combat and system based checks :)

I just got book 0 and might be willing to give it a try, using the PCs from Book 0 - because I don't own any other material yet.

However, I'm always shaky with new game rules until I've played a while myself and I couldn't find anyone to run it for me either, so we would probably have to figure out rules together.
