Hi all,

I'm new to RPG. It's something I've wanted to do for the past year or two but thought I wouldn't have the time to meet frequently and haven't really had the opportunity. When I discovered PbP games I knew this was exactly what I need to dip my feet in and see how I like it. This was all spurred on when on a whim I bought the $1 version of the humble bundle with the pathfinder core rulebook and some other paraphernalia. Excited to join a pathfinder campaign, get started and see what this is all about!

Welcome to the madness!  Knock around and check the place out - there's a lot here.  If I may suggest from my own experience:  definitely read the FAQs and Notices (posted in each thread you might visit) and get a feel for the culture.  You might also check out Community Chat, Wanted:  Players, and Wanted: GMs.

If Pathfinder is your thing you should find plenty to do here.  Good hunting, and may the dice always treat you kindly.

You can search for pathfinder games using the tool in the footer.

Welcome aboard. If you have any question, don't be shy about asking questions. I recommend reading the notices at the top of each thread and reading the Frequently Asked Questions section. There are some good gems there.

Im so confused what are you supposed to do I just want to Roleplay.

In order to play, you have to find a game that's accepting players. Then you have to "Reply To Join" (RTJ) in the manner prescribed by the GameMaster (GM). Then the GM decides whether to admit you to the game. Once she/he does, you're playing.

The best place to find a game that's admitting players is on the "Wanted-Players" forum. Most new games or games seeking new players are posted there.

You can also go to the "Wanted-GM" forum and post a request for the system/game you would like to play. Someone might respond with a game you can RTJ.
