Question from a vet about resurrecting a game.

Hi.  Its been a while and I've been feeling the itch to start GMing again.  However, the game I GMed and deleted was in the previous version of DnD and its title is somewhat inaccurate to what I would like to run now.

My question is, is there a way to RENAME a game?  I know how to resurrect a game but not familiar if there is a rename option once I resurrect it.  Even though I deleted every post in the game I would still rather resurrect it and rename it appropriately than have to create a new game even though it wont really be all that hard to create one.

Looking forward and awaiting anxiously for some professional replies.  Thanks in advance.
Yannick.

In reply to Yannick (msg # 1):

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's under GM Menu > Edit Game Details (roughly 4/5ths of the way down the page)? It's the only option under 'Game Settings' (the third grey highlighted section on the right).

I know you can see the name there, but I'm not willing to test changing it on the only campaign I run. >_>

Thanks a lot Tyr, you're awesome.

I was able to resurrect the game and successfully change the name.

Woot!  On to the exciting stuff.

You're the man Tyr.

Re: Question from a vet about resurrecting a game.

i rename games quite often. I build them and give them a name like ........ New Game 1 (in development) ........ Then when I have the right name for the game I change it. When it goes live I remove the parenthesis. I also tag games with ........ (On hold) ...... If they are in a hiatus. So I know the status of my games and anyone looking at me sees that my games with just six posts are in construction.

That's some darn good advice Grim.  I'm certainly going to do some of that now that I'm aware of it.

Thumbs up playas!

I use a name change to note brief playtests that have a hundred or two posts, that I'm keeping around for reference purposes.
