a little confusion

i'll try to keep this fairly short and to the point.

background info on the problem:
i have a friend to play on here with
i've created a game
i've filled out the game info

so now do i start playing(as the GM) in the "post a new topic" section, where me and my friend would basically play the game via replying to each other in the thread? or have i missed a section of the site where the actual game play takes place? if that seems somehow confusing, i can try to explain myself better. thanks in advance

Re: a little confusion

Yes, in your game you post a new thread, much as you did to make this thread, and then your friend replies with his character's response.  Easy peasy.

Re: a little confusion

Keep in mind that your friend has to 'Request to Join' the game and you, as GM, have to add him to the game.

Re: a little confusion

Also note that if your threads are in 'Group 0', everyone on Rpol can read what you're writing. This can be useful if you want to attract more players with your exciting plot, or you might not care either way, but if you want your game to be private, ensure that each new thread is posted in Group 1 or higher.

Group 0 is where you might post welcome notices or the rules to your game so that anyone can check them out for information before disturbing you with a RTJ.
