I'm not a new gamer, just new to this site. are theyre any good games I could watch and get a feel for how this works? I have played online games before but not in this format. Any advice would help a lot to get a feel for this.

If you want to get a look at a game and see a format, first find a game you like.  You can check the Players Wanted forum, or search for games in a particular genre or with a particular gaming system.  Then contact the Game Master with the Request Access function (upper right hand corner of the screen when you're looking a game) and ask if you can lurk.  Lurking will let you look at parts of the game that might not be able to be seen by the public, like you are a player, but it won't let you post.

Otherwise, just take a look at the FAQs, because they will answer nearly all of your questions about how to join, search, and start your own games.
