I'm new here but rping for about 26 years now. I'v played a lot of different types of games from Rifts, Robotech, D&D, Marvel Classic Super Hero's *a Fav* and several diffrent types of genres  of G.U.R.P's.

First thing I would recommend doing is reading the FAQs and Help files at the top right of your screen, they will help you avoid many of the pitfalls which plague new people on this site. The next thing I would recommend doing is looking at the 'Game Proposals, Input, and Advice' board and the 'Wanted - Players' board to find some games that suit you, and if you don't find any there try posting an add for what you do want in 'Wanted - GMs'. Just to reiterate, welcome, and happy gaming!

Ok, I'v been looking but I don't see a way to look into a game besides the advertisement page. Is there a way to look into a game without actually joining it?

I suggest using the search game engine at the bottom of the page.

At the top of each advertisement is the games name:



The actual game name is a link which will take you to the the game.  You should always see the request to join information.  Some GM's have much of their game publicly available for viewing, while some have none at all.

You join the games by requesting to join at the top right of your browser and following the GM/Storyteller/DM's requirements.
