Hey, new to the site so thought id say hi. Im from Florida, USA. I have been roleplaying a long time but new to the play by forum style most of my games have been over roll20 or in person. I tend to favor a variety of roleplaying games all in good fun. Right now D&D, World of Darkness, Star Wars and Shadows of Esteren are all games that i am active in but i don't discriminate when it comes to a good game. I favor low magic, intrigue, horror and exploration with high emphasis on story. Some of my favorite settings include Planescape, Esteren's Tri-Kazel, and Mage the Ascension.

Amandi is right, the Wanted Players forum is the best place to find games that are currently "hiring", though you can also place your own ad in Wanted GMs, or use the browse feature at the bottom of the main menu to find games.
