Lots of fun.
First thing - seriously... skim through the FAQ.  It solves a lot (if not nearly all) the possible annoyance you may have from which most other play-by-post sites greatly suffer.

Second - head to "Wanted - Players" and take a read.  There's a great search system that allows you to search by game system, type, genre and everything.  You'll get used to how it works pretty quickly.  Don't be surprised if responses seem slow right now.  People are recovering from the winter holidays, and the pace will pick up again soon.

Hey you!!! Welcome to rpol!!  Gamer pretty much covered it all.  If you do not find an interest in the Players Wanted, goto GMs Wanted and post something with what YOU are looking for.

There are plenty of spots, you just have to find em. But less we know what you are interested in, it is hard to help you find one that suits your taste. That is what a gm wanted ad is for.

Sorry, AllyM. That's not how things work here. I'm afraid you'll have to do the legwork yourself. First off, read the FAQs. They are informative and concise, and should explain things nicely. Then head on over to 'Players Wanted' to find a game.  There's also a search function that will allow you to look through all the active games. If you can't find anything of interest there, try GMs Wanted, where you can find some other prospective games and might even consider posting if you have something specific in mind.
