Posting rate varies by game.  Go to the Player's Wanted to find games that you might be interested in and then request to join the game.

Often the Storyteller/Game Master will have a requested posting rate - typically these vary from multiple times per day to 1-2 times per week.  Whenever in doubt, ask.
