<Cursive>Hey, I haven't done any roleplays in awhile now because one of my favorite sites I used was shut down several years ago. When I started roleplaying there were no rules on the site, besides keeping it appropriate. I have always enjoyed writing and roleplaying, however this site is new to me as well as the way everything is set up. I would love to get back into roleplaying, therefore if someone could explain some of the rules to me and/or would be willing to start a roleplay game with me I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you. :)

Since nobody has replied to you yet, I'll jump in.

Welcome to Rpol. You'll find there are lots of rules here, but provided you mean no harm the moderators will probably treat you well if you make a few mistakes. Most of the rules are accessed via the FAQ tab at the top right of your screen, but each of the forums (including this beginners forum) starts with a notice that contains rules on how to use the forum.

We can't advertize games in this forum, or invite you to play, so if you want to join a game you should look at the Wanted - Players forum (which is our recruiting hall) to see who's hiring, (you can filter it for different types of game) or if you're looking for a GM to run a specific type of game for you, you can place your own ad in the Wanted - GMs forum. Once you get to know a few people, you can search for specific GMs using the search tool at the bottom of the Wanted - Players page.
