Hello, world

I am TazerValentine. Long have I wished for the others who are into roleplaying games, but couldn't find any. It occured to me only recently that the Internet could help me find such people, if only I knew where to look for.

As of tonight, I've finally found what I have been looking for all these years.

As you can tell, I'm new to roleplaying. I especially like modern fantasy settings, especially magic and the occult. But first, I'll need to learn the mechanics of varios systems. I've got my dice ready here...

Re: Hello, world

@Eggy, As I said, I like modern fantasy settings the most, with high fantasy settings (D&D style) coming a close second. I normally don't think much of horror stories, but if I'm invited to a horror game, I will play as a self-imposed challenge. World of Darkness, especially Mage: The Awakening has been drawing a lot of my attention lately.

In reply to TazerValentine (msg # 5):
You can search for the type of setting  or the game line. Since you're new, you probably won't be invited to a game right off. Nothing personal, unless you already know GMs. It'll be faster to search for the games you enjoy and apply.
