Maping Tools

Heya all,

"pretty" new to the whole GMing business, and well. Does anyone know any good maptool ? How to keep track of who is where in combat (Visible for me and the players) most important though, that it is easily updated/uploaded since in combat it changes alot 'offcourse' (unless they all die in 1 round)

any help :)

Re: Maping Tools

You may want to look for good 'Virtual Table Tops'.

I guess first question - Are you talking about using with RPOL or Face-to-Face or some other scenario?

Roll20.net allows you to do quite a bit with showing/revealing maps.  It's not high-powered, but it works.

Re: Maping Tools

Will be using it here on Rpol (PbP)

And, oh (tinkering with the VTT https://app.roll20.net/home) the idea you gave me is nice. It 'saves' the positions and such after I exit the game. Just have to see how the players will beable to get in. And .. if im correct they can edit it to abit (what I allow ofcourse)

So *DigiHuggles* Thx !

Re: Maping Tools

Additionally if you do a Search (bottom left of the page) while in the Community Chat forum for "maps" you'll be able to look through many suggestions, methods, and resources that have been discussed.
