How does someone apply for a place in an RPG here.
I got to the "Looking for players" thread, but I'm not sure how to actually Apply, like do I message the GM, or do I put a message in the board, or...?

If you're not currently playing in the game, there is a "Request Access" thing to click in the top right or bottom right of your screen.  Also, if you see this message when you are outside any threads inside a game: "You do not currently participate in this game, click here to request to join," you can click the "click here" portion to do the same thing.  This opens a PM to the GM of the game which you can use to submit your RTJ (Request To Join) with whatever parameters or info he requires.

That works. Just tell him/her you want to join and he/she will get you going.

Oh, I think I see the problem.

So, you've found threads inside the Players - Wanted forum, right?  At the top of those threads is a direct link to the game (The title of the game is clickable in a box above the top of the thread), clicking that link will take you to the area where you will see what I was talking about in my last post.

Simply posting a reply to those threads is usually frowned on by the GM's, because they don't normally go back to check those threads after they create them.

Yeah. On the top of advertized game there is a link to the game page. There  you can find the request acces button. Have a look at "Request to join" public thread aka RTJ.
Several GM dont answer to requests for unknown reasons. At the beginning could be frustrating. Insist!
