Newbie, sorta.

I used to play dnd in various forms over the years. Ranging from basic in elementary school to a couple of games in 3.0 in college. I even played 4.0 once or twice lol. Any suggestions for a rusty dm and an even rustier player?

Re: Newbie, sorta.

*smiles*   Oil aside, there are a lot of games and DMs here that are either helpful to new people, or even set up for them specifically (more of the former than the latter, though).
Just explain to any DMs your experience, and take something relatively simple to refresh your memory.     We've got mostly 3.5 D&D, but there are also games of 2nd edition, 1st Edition, and even basic D&D, as well as 4th Edition and even some 5th edition stuff (though that one is rare).

There are some web sites you can use to brush up on the book rules, and the great thing about PbP is that you can take your time, for the most part, with learning or relearning to play.

If you have any questions, though, please ask.   We love showing off our knowledge.  :)

In reply to Grimmond (msg # 4):

Oy questions are a compulsion for me, ask any of the GM's that are accepting me lol.
Yeah there are some awesome d&d wiki out there. Very helpful. When did 5th come out o.0

I just read up on changes between 3.0 and 3.5 some of em are pretty good changes(adding intimidate to fighter skills, nerfing haste) I always assumed aside from quickened only 1 spell per turn was allowed o.0
