Um... Some help

This is my first time in this kind of site. I have done gaming before and a little role-play here and there but I was mostly doing that just to fit in. If anyone can show me the ropes that would be great.

Re: Um... Some help

Welcome!   I think you'll enjoy this site.  The people are very friendly and amazingly creative.

First, I'd read the FAQ section in the upper right corner.  that will answer a LOT of questions.   :)

Then, feel free to peruse the Players Wanted forum, to see what games are looking for players, or you can even make a post in GMs Wanted to ask for whatever game you want.

If you have questions, feel free to ask them here...just be aware, the more specific you can make your question, the better and more useful the answers will be.

In reply to facemaker329 (msg # 3):

Um... On the topic of specific questions, how do you move NPCs to a different list from the main cast?

Re: Um... Some help

You don't. All characters in the game are publicly listed in the Cast.

However, if you want to keep secrets you can simply not publish a description (store it at the bottom of your character sheet until you're ready to publish), so all the players can see is a name.

Or, if even the name is too much, create characters called NPC1, NPC2, etc, put their real name inside the character sheet, and then change the name and publish a description when you're ready.

Hope that helps.
