Rpol will be just like, and nothing like, the role plays you've done before, because we have a little bit of everything here.   We have all of the mainstream RPGs, obscure games that you might never have heard of, and freeform games with no system and not rules, just roleplaying (which seems like what you might have done before).

After you read the FAQ section in the top right hand corner (which should answer a lot of your questions), please feel free to peruse the Players Wanted section to see what games are 'hiring' at the moment.    There's a little something for everyone.

And please feel to ask whatever you'd like.  We love helping new folks.   :)
