A lil help please?x]

Herro I'm new and eh I'm not exactly sure if this is exactly the same as my past role plays I played on polyvore but I decided I wanted something proper I guess x] I don't know if this works the way I did it.
I explained my character/Name/Traits all that and then we just went straight in with the genre/topic.

Thanks ;D

Re: A lil help please?x]

Being utterly unfamiliar with Polyvore, I'm afraid that doesn't give me, personally, much of an understanding of what you're used to, but there may be other RPOL users who make perfect sense of that.  *grin*

The way RPOL operates is, it hosts games (several thousand of them)...it isn't the game.  You can search for games (the 'Browse Games' option on the Main Menu) or visit the Wanted: Players forum.  W:P is where games that are actively seeking new players are allowed to post ads...you can read a little information about the game, what rules system it uses (D&D (of whatever edition), GURPS, Shadowrun, Tri-Stat, Pathfinder, Savage Worlds, Star Wars (of whatever edition), the White Wolf Storyteller system, freeform...I did mention there were a lot of games on here, right?), the setting information (is it fantasy?  Set in a specific world?  Contemporary?  Superheroes?  Near-future sci-fi?  Distant future sci-fi?  Space fantasy?  Again, there are a LOT of games...), and a link to the game itself where you can go to read more detailed information about the game, as well as specific information about what the Game Master wants from anyone who wishes to join the game (typically, specific information about proposed characters which will allow the GM to assess how well the character would fit into the game).

And you aren't limited to just one character in just one game.  If the GM is willing, you can have multiple characters in a game, you can participate in as many different games as you feel capable of running...plenty of options available!

Re: A lil help please?x]

you could post the details of your setting/character in Wanted-GMs see if someone will take you on.
