This one I liked, but I will be heartbroken come Christmas. That was one my shining candle. I'll have to decorate my own UI for Christmas this year. April fools was a fun one though! I'm going to miss the themes done for me. I know, I know, though, there was ALOT of negative feedback. Oh well. ;/

yeah? Like it...not like it.. it was a tradition. I liked it. no other places do it. it was 'family-like' I liked it.

I've liked that I could have my chosen color scheme override the technicolor yawn RPOL chose for April 1st and Christmas.
I like being able to enjoy what is on my screen instead of avoiding RPOL on specific days because my vision was assaulted.

Same. I switched over to the Responsive site years ago, and never missed the semi-annual color scheme override. I get it was tradition, but it was a tradition I disliked immensely.

Having switched over to responsive when it first launched for testing, I would generally forget when the dates for the various holiday themes would come up unless I saw someone posting the usual "Why did my colors change?" post.

I for one wouldn't mind them making a comeback, perhaps with a toggle in the user preferences to turn them off for folks who can't abide for whatever reasons.

I actually liked the holiday themes, I’m kinda sad to see them go. It’d be nice to have a toggle so that the people who’d like to have them back can still have them, and maybe get a couple new ones here and there for sillier ‘holidays’.

I’m probably in the minority though heh

And I'm pretty sure you could override it.

If other people enjoyed them, that's their thing. I don't begrudge them their taste; don't begrudge me mine.
