I am curious and I know the system has been replaced but are there a lot of people still playing VtM? How does the new WOD Requiem compare with the classic old White Wold stuff?

The mix varies, but I still play VtM, and I see more ads for VtM games than I do for VtR games. The other lines are more mixed. Werewolf and Mage seem to be about even, maybe slightly slanted toward nWoD. Both incarnations of Changeling are rare, but CtL is, I think, generally the more common.

Main differences? The system has been streamlined quite a bit. The game has been set-up with the assumption that there's no canon metaplot, Vampire politics has been re-scaled to be mostly city-wide. International politics isn't as much of a thing.

Completely different games.

Well, given that WW/OPP then came out with the 20th Anniversary editions of the OWoD games, I don't know if you can call it "replaced" by the New World of Darkness.  Both worlds are still being supported.

There's some good stuff in V:tR that would make playing in the CWoD setting a lot better.

2nd edition oWoD setting was by far the best of the bunch in my opinion. 3rd edition got way too far into politics for my tastes.

I totally 100% agree with this statement.

I agree that the V:tM 2nd ed. setting was better than the Revised. It's reversed for Mage: the Ascension in CWoD, Revised was better than 2nd.
