I am very impressed by it, a very good thrilling atmosphere has been built by the directors in this TV series who's a pure expression of love towards the 80s (with its soundtrack and the various easter eggs, from Stand by me to the Goonies.. and obviously D&D/AD&D). So good. The acting, especially by the kids, the writing and pacing, the special effects, the music, everything.

Great finale.
And the good thing is that Duffer Brothers spoke about a possible second season in an interview released to Variety.

It's so hard not to watch all of it in one go because it's just that good. About halfway through, and really impressed with the music, the tone, the acting, just everything.

Saw it, thoroughly enjoyed it - good performances all around and yeah, Netflix has been remarkably good so far. Even their Inspector Gadget reboot wasn't terrible... Let's not talk about Dangermouse.
