Hey guys, I don't know if it's just because I'm new but the 40K scene seems abit dead here. Am I in the wrong place or?

Depends upon what you are trying to find.

If you're trying to find recreations of the war game/board game - you're probably out of luck.

That being said - there usually are some Dark Heresy or Rogue Trader games out and about - they usually get advertised about every 3 weeks or so.

Never played in one, so I can't speak to the longevity.

Looking for RP in the FFG roleplay systems at the moment, three weeks seem pretty low?

The number of games vary a lot. In my experience, Black Crusade games are rather scarce and usually short lived, Only War then to be more abundant but in general equally shortly lived. If you ask me, your safest bet is Dark Heresy, though opinions may vary. As i said the amount of games vary, you could have a drought for months or get 5 in a single week.

Quoted for Truth. I'm in a number of Dark Heresy games. Black Crusade and Only War! never seemed to take off. I occasionally see a Deathwatch game once every two or three months. The 40k scene in general seems to have become very quiet. No comment and a pity.

In reply to TheBaron (msg # 5):

That's fine, I just hope I ain't come in drought season because I really don't know what I would do outside 40K, don't know any other settings well bar ME and I don't really wanna play it
