RIP Mr Spock

Just seen the news that Leonard Nimoy has passed away. Sad news. I was never a massive Trekkie but I felt he always have great performances.

Re: RIP Mr Spock

Indeed. At least at 83 and with such an amazing career and life behind him, he had truly lived long and prospered.

For some reason I have this desire to go watch Wrath of Khan right now.

So sad to hear the news.

Re: RIP Mr Spock

Having been there at the very beginning, I can assure you that Spock once had a sense of humor . . . but they wrote it out of the character. Turned out it made him more popular! LOL

A great talent is lost and will be missed. He truly is now on a voyage to the final frontier.

A man whose greatest claim to fame was playing an alien of logic and reason evinces such strong emotions in us.

Fascinating.

Re: RIP Mr Spock

Just read his last tweet.

Now there appears to be something wrong with my eyeballs; are they supposed to be leaking like this?

But, as it happens, it hurts in a good way.
