So I've been playing in a Pokemon Gane here on rpol, and its got me to pull out my old games. As it turns out my old gameboy games work but the batteries dead so I can't save, which means I'm stuck with the DS versions. I'm wondering has anybody figured out any good ideas for roleplaying your character in these games? I know they aren't built for it really, since all the dialogue is preset to one responce. I'm just trying to enjoy these games I used to love. Only thing I've come ip with so far is focusing on just one type of pokemon like being a fire trainer, or a water trainer. Any ideas?

Try doing a Nuzlocke challenge. I did one in Black and it was pretty fun, and very easy to write a story around.
