Visual effects?

This is weird. When I type in the subject line, the printface is solid with no oddities. Yet as I am writing this, and every time today I have responded to a post, it looks like pixels are missing making the letters look like they were typed on an old typewriter with the ribbon going bad. I am also experiencing this when looking at character sheets. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Re: Visual effects?

It may be your computer, as I am not having any issues myself

Re: Visual effects?

I don't know what browser you use, but it kind of sounds like your default fonts may have gotten changed in your browser setting.

I had an issue when Chrome suddenly did that to me, making everything in the text boxes tiny -- and it took me forever to get it fixed back.

A good place to start is to load RPoL from another browser or another computer and see how it looks there.

Re: Visual effects?

Yep, that did it. I have Chrome, and just tried IE. Looks much clearer.

Can you give me any clue as to how you fixed it? I'd really love to get my Chrome back.

Re: Visual effects?

For Chrome
Click on the Options Bars (the 3 horizontal thick black lines) in the upper right of the browser window

Choose "Settings"

Scroll down and choose "Show Advanced Settings.."

You can A) Scroll down to where it says "Web Content" and set your Font Size to what you would like, and click on "Customize Fonts" to adjust things further.

Or B) Scroll to the very bottom and where it says "Reset settings" and click the "Reset Settings" button, which should put Chrome's fonts back to the defaults you're used to, assuming some other issue isn't the cause.
