Here is the start of a list of things that we may often see, but never understand.

1.Why they have to compare controversial issues with tragedies
2.If a girl hits a guy, it's no big deal, but guy hits girl:Harassment/assault
3.Not being into yaoi/yuri automatically gets you labelled as a homophobic, religious zealot
4.Not being into popular stuff is such a big deal(I can't stand Twilight, and if I hear that stupid "Let It go" song from frozen one more time, I'll start taking hostages.)

2. is because, despite the feminist movement. Women have always had the advantage over men in every aspect of life since the founding of the ideal of a democracy.

6: Why is is people in these sorts of post threads can't seem to count (first post had 4 items, 2cd post ignored 3 of them and posted itself as 2...)

Read the play 'Lysistrata' sometime.  It spells it out quite clearly.  And it's several thousand years old.

(And the second post wasn't written as a continuation of the list, it was written as a response to point #2 in the first post...)

6. (if you count shadowprism's post as #5) Personally I will never understand why people care about the lives of animals that only exist because we have carefully monitored there genetics and well being for 1000s of years for the sole purpose of consuming, animals that, with the backing of scientific evidence lack the intelligence to grant them self awareness to even care or protest there situation.

on a side note, I doubt the longevity of this thread lol because it is the subject of controversy.

Why must folks create a thread with the hope that others would add to it? :)
