Probably a no go, but its funny.

Name him, "Hers" and the female, "His".

LOL My Mother would have an aneurysm! She is one of those of people who can't get her mind around things looking like one thing and tasting like another. She already freaks out if I try and bake strawberry cupcakes and put them in yellow cases. Yellow is for lemon. LOL

Ooh.. I was going to suggest Mal and Serenity, but... I'm going to second Jayne and Vera, instead.  I like that one.

If you like Lord of the Rings, Sam and Rose. Or Penny and Billy, from Dr. Horrible.

Re: Help Me Name My Netherland Dwarf Rabiits

Thanks so much for all the suggestions guys! I passed on the best ones to the rest of the family but sadly as much as I tried to convince them we were still devided. It's the Mother really. She's a strange one when it comes to names. Lol

Her - "She doesn't look like a Piper."
Me - "And what exactly dose a Piper look like?"
Her - "Not that."

So I couldn't get a geeky OTP past the committee but we decided on Oliver and Maddie.

Re: Help Me Name My Netherland Dwarf Rabiits

Actually, noticing that they're Blue Dwarf rabbits, I was tempted to suggest Holly and Hilly.

Re: Help Me Name My Netherland Dwarf Rabiits

Oliver and Maddie. The names don't tie to anything specific but they are cute and everybody agreed on them and that's important.

Here's a picture the breeder took of them. I haven't taken any just yet. They are still adjusting to their new homes.

I know it's a mouthful, but there is always "that bunny from the movie."  (As in Monty Python and the Holy Grail)

Aww, I wanna boop their little noses. :B

I've never actually had a rabbit for a pet before. Do they like to be picked up and petted and all that stuff?

It depends on the bunny. We have bunnies as small as these new babies which will grow to a kilo and a half at the MAX and Flemish Giants and Newzealnd Whites which can grow as large as 4 kilos or more. Our biggest rabbits is Watson and he weighs about 3 kilos at the moment.

No rabbit really likes being picked up as they are prey animals but once you have them, they do enjoy a pat. The bigger they are the more bond you have to establish with them because they can hurt you if they get scared. If you want a pet that really likes a cuddle, a Guinea Pig is the way to go. They are increible expressive! They will look you right in the eye and chortle/vibrate happily as you scratch them under the chin.

Of course that being said we also have three rabbits that we had to hand raise. Their mother died when they were just born and we were given them by a friend who just didn't know what to do. Hand raising rabbits is incredibly difficult but we got three to survive and they are unlike any other rabbit. They will crawl onto your lap and come when called.
